On Friday 5th February Stephen will answering questions at The Guardian's 'Routes into Screenwriting' event. It's between 1pm - 4pm here.

Stephen will be chairing a panel discussion entitled ‘Developing A Project’ on Wednesday 3rd February between 7pm – 9pm at the BFI Southbank.

On the panel will include Chris Collins (Development Producer, UK Film Council), Rosie Alison (Head of Development, Heyday Films) and Kate Leys (Script Editor).

Stephen Follows is selected as 'One To Watch' in Producing by movieScope magazine. The December 2009 issue features an interview with Stephen.

Stephen will be chairing a panel discussion called Working with Red for Producers. The event will take place on 10th December and is run by the New Producers Alliance.

The evening seminar is geared towards producers, line producers and production managers. It will provide current up to date information in order to manage RED Technology, how best to utilise this format technically, creatively and cost effectively. The seminar will be followed by a Q & A.

Stephen will be a Jury Member for the Vineyard Film Festival in Cyprus. The festival takes place between 25th – 28th March 2010 and includes screenings (short and feature films), film workshops and music concerts. Other jury members include actors Jason Connery and Ariel Vromen, casting director Deborah Aquila and composer Gilad Benamram.

Stephen will be hostng ‘Drop Shot 3' on Wednesday 7th October at the BFI London IMAX cinema. 'Drop Shot' is a regular festival for short filmmakers. We'll be screening seven short films and a Q&A with filmmaker and best-selling author Chris Jones. Free entry, top films and a great opportunity network with loads of filmmakers.

IMAX film 'Chasing Cotards' has wrapped! Shot on 35mm Vista Vision and finished in IMAX, the film features Olivier Award-wining actor Andrew Scott and rising star Olivia Grant. Well done to director Ed, producer Sam and all of the hard working and committed crew. The film's premiere will be at London IMAX cinema is April 2010.

Stephen will be speaking at the UK Film Centre in Cannes on Sunday 17th May at 4pm about RED filmmaking.

Other members of the panel include Anthony Dod Mantle (Oscar-winning cinematographer of 'Slumdog Millionaire'), Adrian Sturges (producer of 'The Escapist') and Karen Maarbjerg (producer of Lars von Trier's 'Antichrist' currently In Competition at Cannes).

Stephen is currently producing and directing 'Inside Cannes', a web TV show broadcast from the heart of Cannes throughout the Festival and Market. Stephen is the editor of 'The Little RED Book 2009- A Guide to RED Filmmaking'. The book is a primer for filmmakers thinking of shooting on RED and a reference guide for those already doing so.

'Sofa So Good' is one of the 12 shortlisted films in 'The Guardian' YouTube competition. Judges include playwright Mark Ravenhill, musician Natasha Khan (aka Bat for Lashes), artists Gillian Wearing and Isaac Julien, and Guardian film critic Peter Bradshaw.

The film is featured in today's Arts / Film section of 'The Guardian' (27th January). The winning film will be announced next month.

Stephen Follows has been elected to the Executive Committee of the New Producers Alliance.

'Lord Stabbington' wins the Joss Whedon's 'Dr Horrible' competition! The film appears on the official 'Dr Horrible's Sing-Along' DVD and is now on sale at Amazon.com. The film was written, shot and edited in under 24 hours.

'Hourglass' shortlisted at the Raindance Film Festival 2008. Stephen is the Executive Producer and the film stars Julian Glover.

'Space Chase' screened at the Victoria and Albert Museum as a part of the 'Get Physical' exhibition.
